FAQ

How do I contact AUDiO-PRO Mobile DJ Entertainment for more information or to book my event?
To contact AUDiO-PRO Mobile DJ Entertainment for more information, event specific pricing, or to check the availability of your event date, simply start by submitting your information through the “CONTACT” page of this website.

How much does it cost to have a DJ? What are your prices?
A number of factors determine a DJ’s cost, including date & location of event, experience, MC ability (Master of Ceremony), service, coordination, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality. The best price is not always the best deal, especially in the mobile DJ industry. A full-service DJ company will normally invest 20-30 hours in your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for “4-6 hours”. Consultations, music purchasing, programming and editing, rehearsal, set-up and teardown, event coordination, and creating a schedule of events all add up to the overall success of your event.

The DJ entertainment packages and services I offer are some of the best in the area and are very affordable. If you would like a specific quote for your event, or for additional information, please don’t hesitate to call, email, or schedule a visit.

What music genres are in your collection?
Every year I subscribe to one of the top music subscription services available to mobile DJ’s. This service provides clean radio edits of today’s HITS, while also including new releases from almost every genre of music. Along with these weekly updates, the library I have available for every event consists of hits from over (6) decades of music. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Acoustic, Big Band, Classic Rock, Classical, Country, Dance, Funk, Christian, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Orchestra, Pop, Punk Rock, R&B, Rock, Soul, Strings, and Swing.

Do you take requests?
A versatile DJ is willing to listen to your requests, offer feedback, and play from your desired song list. Along with taking requests at your event, I encourage clients to develop a list of music styles and songs they would like to hear and bring a list to our planning consultation. I also suggest to begin developing a “do not play” list. This music planning process assures I have available your requests prior to your event, while also making note of the songs and styles of music you don’t want to hear.

Can you describe your DJ style?
I often send a review link to clients after their event. One of the things I find clients always seem to note in their reviews is the fact of how willing I am to not only help with music selections, but to basically help plan their entire reception or special event. The phase “event planner/coordinator” seems to be associated with my services just as much as “DJ.” I take a lot of pride in being an organized, energetic, outgoing, reliable, and professional mobile DJ. I am always willing to listen and work to structure an event that will create memories to last a lifetime.

What type of equipment do you have and will you also have back-up equipment?
The DJ systems I bring to your event are some of most professional DJ equipment on the market. These systems are designed to be rugged, compact, and dependable. I provide a simple, clean, yet powerful system that will work for a variety of different venues and event types/sizes. If you would like a listing of equipment, or to see additional photos of past set-ups, don’t hesitate to ask.

Back-up systems are a very important part of being a full-service DJ entertainment company. At each and every event, I bring back-up speakers, computers, cables, music, and other DJ related equipment. This helps to assure I always have a back-up plan in place in the event that problems would occur at your event.

How many DJ’s are part of AUDiO-PRO Mobile DJ Entertainment?
One of the biggest advantages I can offer clients is that my company is owned and operated by one person. This is huge, and you can assure that a detail-oriented approach will be given to each and every event. The person you call, email, and meet with will also be the person at your event. DJ companies that have multiple DJ’s on staff focus more on quantity versus quality. As you do your research, find out how companies operate and take the time to meet who you are hiring for your event. Also, be sure to read reviews, visit websites, view photos, and other details to assure you are comfortable with your final decision.

Are we able to meet with you prior to our event?
Most definitely! I am available anytime to meet and discuss your event. I typically like to have an introductory meeting when booking and also a final planning meeting (1) to (2) months before your event. At this time, we discuss your event in detail and begin to develop a schedule of events and music.

How much time to you need to set-up your equipment and do we need to provide anything?
No event was ever ruined because the DJ arrived too early! I typically arrive 2-3 hours before the first guests arrive and/or sometimes even earlier depending on the overall scope of the event. I like to have plenty of time to set-up and address any last minute surprises. If possible, a standard 6’ table is preferred.

Do you usually help coordinate our event and emcee (MC) during the event or between songs?
Like I noted earlier in these FAQ’s, I can recall numerous reviews I have received from past clients stating how I was somewhat of a “wedding planner” or “event planner” for their specific event. I am a very detail oriented person and provide a written schedule of events for each and every event I am hired to DJ. During a reception or special event, I help coordinate details with photographers, caterers, videographers, and others involved so no moments or special events are missed. Pressing “play” is only a small portion of what I do as a DJ and it’s something I feel sets my services apart from the competition.

What do you do if nobody is dancing?
I get asked this question all the time and it’s an excellent question. Experience, requests, and quality dance music help to encourage dancing but dancing is never guaranteed. Most of the clients I work with don’t measure the success of their event based on the amount of dancing that occurs. Instead, they are more concerned with how their guests feel about the overall experience of the event.

Are you insured and can you provide me with proof of liability insurance?
Definitely. Many responsible business owners carry liability insurance. That protects you and the business. Some locations are beginning to require proof of insurance. A Certificate of Liability can be used as proof. AUDiO-PRO Mobile DJ Entertainment is insured for $2,000,000.

Do you use contracts and do you require a deposit?
Yes, for peace of mind I do use written contracts that show all of the details of your event. I typically require a small deposit to secure your event date. We can discuss this in further detail if you decide to use my services for your event.

What happens if our event runs over the normal schedule time? Can we extend the time of your services?
If you just can’t stop dancing, I understand! This decision is something that doesn’t have to be made until the evening of your event. The standard overtime rate applies per ½ and full hour beyond the regular contracted hours for your event.

Can we visit you at an upcoming event? Do you have references?
Out of respect to a client’s privacy, I unfortunately don’t allow guests to visit events. Keeping this policy assures that I can keep 100% focus on the current event. This policy will also be in place when it comes time for your event! I would be more than happy to put you in touch with past clients or you can read reviews from past clients on my WeddingWire.com website.
