On Saturday 8/23/14, I provided a ceremony sound system, DJ entertainment, up-lighting, and a custom monogram for the new Mr. & Mrs. Tim Taylor! Their ceremony and reception were held at All Occasions Catering in Waldo, Ohio. Tim & Amanda celebrated their big day with over 200 of their close family and friends.
After the warm & muggy outdoor ceremony, guests made their way inside and were treated to a full open bar, photo booth, and an elaborate fruit appetizer display. Once again, All Occasions provided excellent catering services for the event and their food was outstanding.
Once dinner finished up, the evening transitioned into the toasts & cake. The Best Man toast was definitely one of the best I have heard in all my years of being a DJ. After the formal dances were complete, the bridal party opened the dance floor with a group dance to “Jump On It”. Some laughs, a few funny pictures, and some crazy dance moves by the bridal party really set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Lots great music requests and a fun-filled evening of events & dancing made for a memorable night for the new Bride & Groom! Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Taylor!
On Saturday 8/16/14, I provided a ceremony sound system and DJ entertainment for the new Mr. & Mrs. Justin Williams! Their ceremony and reception were held at The Barn on Chestnut Lane in Ostrander, Ohio. Justin & Brooke celebrated their big day with over 300 of their close family and friends.
The Barn on Chestnut Lane was a very challenging venue that required (3) separate set-ups on my part along with lots coordination to make sure the evening’s events went smooth and on schedule. The sunny & cool weather switched over to some light rain in the early afternoon but held off just long enough finish up their outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony, guests made their way inside The Barn for cocktails & appetizers. Dinner was served after cocktails and out back of The Barn under (3) large tents.
Once dinner and the formal dances were finished up, guests traveled back inside The Barn for some dancing and celebration. Lot’s of great music, a fun/energetic crowd, outstanding venue, and a happy new couple made for a spectacular evening for everyone in attendance. When the lights came on and the evening came to a close, it seemed as if a good portion of the original (300) people at the event were still dancing and going strong both inside and outside of The Barn! What a great party! After the reception, guests headed outside to release sky-lanterns over the large pond and into the air with the new Bride & Groom.
Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Justin Williams!
