Catching up today on some events from earlier this year in which I hadn’t had a chance to post photos. On Saturday 11/23/13, I provided a ceremony sound system and reception DJ entertainment for the new Mr. & Mrs. Steve Woodward! Their reception was held at The Vault in Columbus, Ohio.
The Vault is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio and served as an actual bank from 1965 until 2002. In late 2002, renovations took place to create one of the most unique wedding venues in all of Columbus. A huge vault serves as the bar/beverage area while a 100 year-old chandelier hangs from the ceiling to accent the marble floors and create a spectacular looking wedding venue.
Steve & Roxanne celebrated their ceremony and reception with over 150 of their close family and friends. After the ceremony, guests made their way inside the large vault to visit the bar and took advantage of the huge balcony above the vault that overlooked the entire reception hall.
This reception for Steve & Roxanne was definitely one to remember for 2013! Guests packed the dance floor the entire evening right up until the bouquet & garter toss took place from the balcony down to the dance floor area late in the evening. The catering staff even joined the party and danced with the guests to a few classic 90’s dance tracks.
Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Steve Woodward!
On Saturday 12/21/13, I provided MC services, uplighting, and DJ entertainment for the United Steel Workers of America holiday party at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio.
This was my second trip back to Hollywood Casino this year and also my last event for 2013. Guests were treated to high-end catering services, multiple food buffets, a full-service bar, and even a few showgirls stopped in for some photo opportunities.
It was definitely a packed house as over 450+ members attended the holiday event. I utilized a full sound system, multiple wireless speakers to help fill in sound at the back areas of the room, and also included some red uplighting.
The extra large dance floor came in handy as guests jumped right into some dancing after all of the prizes were raffled off early in the night. Lot’s of requests and a wide variety of hits kept the large crowd dancing with their co-workers until around 11PM. It was an extremely fun evening and a perfect way to end 2013!
On Saturday 12/14/13, I provided DJ entertainment for the new Mr. & Mrs. Sean Weisenauer! Their reception was held at The Elks Lodge in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
The Upper Sandusky Elks Lodge is located just outside downtown and is a great venue to host a wedding reception. The second floor events area was very open and spacious and featured a huge dance floor and bar area. There were also two large bay windows behind the head table, which added a nice touch and made for a great view once the snow started falling again later in the evening.
The weather was rough most of the day, but guests filed in as Sean & Katie celebrated their wedding with over 250 of their close family and friends. Greenbriar of Carey, Ohio, provided catering services for the event.
The guests had a lot of requests and danced until the late night hours. This was my last wedding reception of 2013 and it was a great way to end the winter wedding season. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Sean Weisenauer!
